Tigray is 1,000 km far from Hawassa, our project location. Its purpose of falling apart from Ethiopia as its own entity, has not only been rejected by the Federal Government but also noted by its neighbouring countries. Tigray was not and will not become a friend of ERITREA... because of historical reasons, that is why an international dimension of the conflict is glooming. A CIVIL WAR started in November, our projects are so far not endangered. We will keep our sponsors informed in a in-depth analysis which will be enclosed in our annual donor - letter in January/ February 2021.
