We have been waiting for one year. Our sponsors were getting nervous: the scholarship program for nurse and midwife trainees were delayed and delayed. We offered a package of inauguration (outfit for nurses, dress, books e.g.) and a monthly scholarship. This could have been discussed. Funds are there to provide a perfect support. Unfortunately in the end: A list of trainees was not made available, the interest in scholarships was not expressed. Our interpretation is: Another donor might have offered a better package. Consequence now: we withdrew our offer and look for opportunities to support nurses in other countries.
