Looking back to 2017 ... and forward to 2018: 20yrs old Merle died during her round-the-world trip, friends were sad and shocked. Hamburg Hockey Club Marienthaler THC organised a fundraising hockey MERLE CUP in memory of a young person who was so energetic and positive. Many friends also donated after the funeral towards the idea of a MERLE-scholarship for 15 GIRLS in Ethiopia. All in all 3,250 € were collected. EDGET started the program in September ´17 and secured other funds, so that a 3-years-program could be set up. During our next project visit in January ´18 we will introduce this new program officially and give some explainations. Faith - Love - Hope. With EDGETs motto: Live, Love & Learn!
