The headmaster of the Gorche Mountain school is happy. A donation of school books reached his school. The donation for this investment came from young students of a Primary School in Hamburg. They organised various sponsorship activities. The Gorche school area has been identified by social workers as the main source for the influx of street children at the nearby regional capital Awassa. Poverty is obviously the reason for this. EDGET plans more to come in 2019: The school lacks proper water and sanitation facilities and could have an upgrade of their "library". Shelves, more books and 4 new windows and a new door ot the current room would help. Little amounts needed... but helpful, Who donates?
