Difficult times in Ethiopia, but steady progress and peaceful setting in HAWASSA, the capital for the Southern Region and the newly established Sidama region. Our Children Transitional Home reports a number of 19 students, of whom 6 will finish school in 2022, 7 in 2023/24, 1 student for Vocational Training (start 2021). The remaining 5 will by 2025 be part of an extended scholarship program, which means that they will receive a tailormade program, fully financed via a scholarship SPECIAL Program. The program started in 2007 with the establishment of a home for orphans, was then in 2010 merged with a street children home, which is now labled "home for vulnerable children" or - as we call it - the CTH (Children Transitional Home) - children stay up to that moment where we can guarantee a perspective. They get full support until they are re-integrated or until the graduate at one of the Ethiopian Universities.
