Dear reader, this brings a fact to your attention which is not in the focus of the international community: 822,000 Internal Displaced Persons (IDPs) are counted in the Southern Region of Ethiopia. IOM (International Organisation of Migration) published a paper and identified 970,000 IDPs (incl. the neighbour region in Oromiya. A shocking figure. What we did so far: Via our partnerorganisation we provide milk powder to 60 needy babies for 15 days, on top we could serve a soup a day to 600 families.
