EDGET became a member of the registered association "Imker fuer Imker" (professional beekeepers assisting young trainees in beekeeping). Why this? We are dealing with IGA (Income Generating Acivities) amongst other acitivities. Within the informal sector it is quite ambitious to create business perspectives in particular for young girls. Beekeeping on the other hand has a long tradition in Ethiopia and contributes towards sustainable cultivation of rural land. This might be a chance. We gain expertise and offer organisational know how. A new chapter of cooperation opens its doors.
