Primary schools Looren-Langmatt in 8053 Zurich, Switzerland, organised a Christmas Market with items handmade by several hundreds of their students. Parents and relatives had a good time as light snowfall and adequate drinks and food took care of the right atmosphere during early evening hours. All income generated will support the Children´s Home of disadvantaged children in Awassa, Ethiopia. 9,000 CHF (around 7,600 €) was handed over to our representatives in Switzerland. Chairlady Gundi Brendes and husband Joern Bernhardt were present and could explain about the needy children and the need for more solidarity for the poor in Ethiopia in particular. We are grateful for having had this opportunity and are thankful for the donation which will contribute towards the well-being of the children in 2018.
